Great Deals

This week I scored at a few stores. Gotta love getting cheap items! I really needed laundry detergent and dish soap and CVS pulled through for me this week. Buy $25 of P&G and get back $10 ECB. Well because of Coupon Sense I found that if you go to CVS.com and fill out the questionnaire for the flu shot it will allow you to print out a $5 OFF $25 coupon. So I saved even more. What I got from CVS: 3 Tide, 7 Dawn Dish Soap, 4 reduced candy bars (0.09 each), 3 Soy Glade candles, 1 Almay Mascara, and 1 Fusion Razor. Total after all coupons and other ECB was $3.11, and on top of that I used a gift card from a Rx so I spent nothing and got back $18 ECB for another time! At Safeway there is a deal when you buy 3 Spray N Wash you get them for $1.49 each. Use a coupon for more savings and I got them for $0.49 each. I had a gift card for Safeway too so I spent nothing there too. I hope we get more coupons before this deal is done so I can stock up even more. Not sure how long it will last. I forgot the razor and candy bars for the picture but here is all my loot!!

You know you have a problem when you request that your husband bring the newspaper to the hospital on Sunday after you have given birth. You don't want to miss any deals now do you! Then today I was sitting and thinking about CVS and I remembered I had some Extra Care Bucks about to expire. So I looked and they expired today. So 5 days after I have my baby I am off to CVS to get some deals so I don't lose out on my Extra Care Bucks. Did pretty good too. Got Tide, Glade Candle, Carefree pads (rain check), pencils (rain check), and mini note books (rain check). Out of pocket was just under $9 and I got back $24.99 back in Extra Care Bucks. I love CVS and the power of a rain check. Couponing is so much fun and without Coupon Sense I would be lost in a world spending more money than I ever needed too.

Deals to be had

So CVS has been my FAVORITE store of late. Even when I had to wait oh seriously about two hours for a photo book today. Last week I got 2 glucose meters and 2 dawn dish soap for $0.18. Today I got 1 photo book, the Febreeze deal from a few weeks (2 noticeable, 1 regular Febreeze, and 1 air effects), and 2 rulers from the 3 day sale (another rain check). I spent OOP $0.89. I have almost $40 EXTRA CARE BUCKS for another trip to roll. I just LOVE it. CVS and Coupon Sense are so amazing. All the deals to be had, and ALL the Free items we get. I just LOVE IT!!!!! I can't wait for next week to roll my ECB's.
